First impact within my family that the financial crisis is happening. My only first cousin was sacked on the weekend because of a company failing. Sure, he's not going to have much trouble getting work or anything (he's some metal scientist or something, I dunno, but he's someone in high demand, anyway), but still, it is happening within my family in a sense. :\
