Faster Than A Speeding Internet Connection
I'm going to make a reference back to that slow computer service for this funny though small story.
The other day, I was on one of the instant messengers (won't say which) and as a joke, my sister from several rooms away sent a message asking me what I was doing. Being in an entirely different room and not at my machine when the message was sent, I noticed it when I came back to my computer. Because I felt like it, I replied with what I was doing, and then I went to ask her why she sent the message.
This is where it gets funny: when I was talking to her, that's when the reply message popped up on the computer she was using. Being quick on my feet, I told her, "I like to make sure my messages get to where they're going." Same house, same connection, same messenger... I beat the digital data to its destination. (I knew those useless superpowers weren't so useless.)
Today's Lesson: It is faster to run across the room and yell your message than use an instant messenger.
Maybe BZP's server isn't so slow: we're just all in the same room.
