Well, I got through the school week in one piece. Yay!

This week was actually pretty good. I did well on all my assignments, and I got most of my word done fairly quickly. But I am glad it's over, and even more glad that I get a long weekend this week.

In other life's news, I was out at Laser Quest today for my cousin's birthday party. For those of you who don't know what Laser Quest is:

1) You go to the front desk and get your nickname.

2) When the game starts, you go in a very large, dark, smokey, multi-floor room with 25-40 people, all armed with a laser gun and a vest with sensors on it. The room is not wide open; it is like a big maze. When you're on the upper floor you can shoot down through the transparent floor, and you can shoot through small holes in the walls and so forth.

3) For 30 minutes, you run around with a 40-pound vest on trying to shoot the sensors on other people. The sensors are on the sides of the gun, front of the gun, back of vest, front of vest and shoulders. Yes, this is very good exercise. You don't just stand in one place, you run. And I mean run. Everyone is drenched with sweat at the end of it.

4) After the game, you get a paper showing your score, the people you hit, where you hit the people, how many times you hit the people, and how many times and what people hit you. For your pleasure, I scanned my sheet. Clickey da Linkey.
