Leafs = Ownage
Wow, yesterday my Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Ottawa Senators, one of the best teams in the NHL, 6-0. Now that's sweet revenge. Last year the Senators beat us seven out of eight times and thumped us three times.
In other big NHL news, Marc-Andre Fleury, the Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender, was the first star as the Penguins beat the Flyers 4-0. Not a bad start for those guys.
The Edmonton Oilers beat the Calgary Flames 3-1 in the first Battle of Alberta this season.
In other big news, DiPietro, his new fifteen-year contract and the New York Islanders "flunked" (Lol, I love that word) in a 6-3 loss to the Phoenix Coyotes. Also Martin Havlat had four points in his Chicago devue as his team beat the Nashville Predators 8-6, and Brendan Shanahan hit the 600 goal mark of his career.
And game scores from October 6th...
New Jersey 4, Carolina 0.
Vancouver 3, Columbus 2 (Overtime).
Los Angeles 3, Anaheim 4.
Boston 3, Florida 8.
Montreal 4, Buffalo 5 (Shootout).
I'm now looking forward to tomorrow night, as my Maple Leafs take on the Montreal Canadians in the first Hockey Night in Canada of the season. B)
Go Leafs Go!
