Well, I do my best not to bother everyone too much with updates on how my writing's going, but these past few days I've just gotten back into the rhythm so I'm feeling pretty good about this. I'm about halfway through chapter 12 (although the hardest part is yet to come) so I've got my buffer zone back.

And some of my favorite scenes so far occur in the past few chapters. Chapter 11 ended up being a one-scener again, although I hadn't planned it that way, but I fell in love with a one-shot character so I just had to give her more lines. And while I was considering what to do next partway through chapter 12 the perfect moment came to me, that resolved a plot point and makes for a great gag.

It's all leading up to the ending I've had planned since the start. I'm getting closer with every word...
