I've decided to look on the bright side. I don't have to spend all my money. And I will just quote a guy from another forum I frequent in order to save typing.

Single. Valentines day isn't even a holiday. Are the banks closed? No. It's just an excuse for girls to get stuff. I talked to my friend last night who said "he better get me something. I mean if he doesn't I might just break up with him. He needs to show he cares today."

I won't quote the rest, not bzpower appropriate. But that's basically it.

Valentine's day, for guys, is just a day that forces them to "show that they care". And if they don't get the girl something, it means they "don't care". It's just a sexist conspiracy.

Eh, I consider time to be a pretty significant fluff factor in pretty much everything.

I also consider Valentines Day just another day in the month, just like February is just another month in the year.
