Sounds to me like it wouldn't do harm. If it's what little kids like, it'll work's no way this will ever effect lines outside of DUPLO.

Actually, I kinda miss my Duplos. It's too bad that I had to give them to my cousins who I didn't even like... and still don't. (Specifically because they wanted all my system pieces too)
