Parts Purchasing Advice?

I'm considering on purchasing individual parts from online stores (as opposed to sets). I'm wanting to expand my inventory a bit in terms of functional pieces and some flair pieces. Specifically, I would love to know what the best pieces for fusion building are. I know of pieces like the brick/socket and the brick/ball pieces, etc. Got any other suggestions? Of course I'll get some extra connector 1x3 +O+ and some of those 1x2 ++ pieces. I'm always needing more of those. XD I've also got my eyes set on some green dragon wings too. (Think big green dragon people! B) )

Also, where is the best place to purchase LEGO/BIONICLE pieces for the best prices and quality?

Thanks for your time! :)

All your links are broken, because we aren't allowed to name/link to that site you mentioned. (You should probably edit it out.)

Though it's funny everyone is suddenly discovering that site... I've been there for years. :P

Oh, ok....

Edit: Fixed. :) So, are we not allowed to mention the name at all either?

Yeah, I've know of the site, I've just never used it before.

Event though I'm sure this will get locked, it's like ebay. You buy from different sellers, and they send the packages to you individually.

Now, as for fusion building...

I have not dabbled much myself, but from what experience I have as well as lots of observation, you'll need small system pieces, system angles and overhang pieces. You'll want technic angles, especially these, along with some of these and the shorter version, and these are helpful, because now I'm going to suggest using the O holes to keep things together with the studs on bricks and plates.

That might have been confusing. I'd suggest go looking at some of DV's, Cags' and Shine's MOCs.

Why? I don't really use system that much.

Anyway, I like cheese slopes, small plates, small/medium saucers, 1x1 bricks w/technic holes, and a bunch of half-pins.

those little stud pins work fabulously, yanno, the kind that came with Takadox for his spines (but do use grey ones)

Basically anything with holes will fit system studs. Play with parts, and try out different things.

Yeah, I know what you're talking about, and I'm using some now! ^_^ And you are right, you've just gotta play with the pieces...
