Don't forget how "ough" can sound like six different ways. In "rough" and "tough" it sounds like "uff". In "though", it sounds like "oh". In "thought", it sounds like "aw". (That's another thing too: "though" and "thought" are only one letter apart but have totally different spelling.) In "through", it sounds like "oo". In "cough" it sounds like "off". And it can also sound like "ow" but I can't think of any words where it does right now.

Oh, and then there's "one", which starts with an "o" that sounds like a "w". 0_o
