Wow.
Just found out that the search feature's back. So I was checking out posts of mine from around the time I first met my friend Bahrag Kal to when I was writing the long-dead, forgotten epic Rust, which was a sequel that BK had made to his epic Alien Warfare, and I took over writing after BK got Extreme writer's block.
So I've been looking at how I posted back when I was under 100 posts or so. Then I started posting a ton more. Times change, my style changes, I change. I can't believe how long it's been since it was December of 2004, and we were all salivating over tidbits about Rahaga and Hordika, and how we were still both amazed by Metru-Nui and reminiscing on how much 2001 was better, and yet now people are missing that, the same people who flamed it. I can remember it was also the time period in which I started honing my now creepy writing skills, and when I became a sort of ghost writer for BK. I still have the first PM BK ever sent me, which might creep some of you out, but it was the first time somebody I knew even barely had PMed me.
A few weeks after I took over on writing Rust, I finally got the hang of writing in color, except I typed in the '[/C0L0R]' part. (I didn't know about the 'Close all tags' feature, silly me)
It's incredible how back then I was only an aspiring artist, not able to draw much more than simple things like stuff in Jhonen Vasquez's style, not to say that's a bad style, I just found it something to use as a template for my work. Now, I draw and publish a ton of my art on BZP. I was pretty much the posterboy for the newbie movement, but not really. I didn't discover the apostrophe key, ' , until 2005. Back then I used a comma, like this: "I don,t like the look of that MOC."
I've kept a lot of my old habits, but I've lost a lot of the bad ones and improved on others. Man, is it odd to be looking back on everything like that.
