...what if there is no god, no purpose, no meaning of life, and we're just meaningless collections of chemicals striving to achieve things which are ultimately pointless and have no impact on the universe, who's intricate quantum mechanics our pitiful mortal brains cannot even begin to comprehend? What then?

That's exactly what we are.

 

But eventually we're going to build robots, and they'll take over our planet. Then they'll build their own planet, mind-wipe us, and call their new home Cybertron and forget about us in their effort to perfect themselves.

 

Then there will be TRANSFORMERS.

 

Which makes our meaningless existence totally worth it.
