Ball's In Whose Court?

The ball's in your court now.
Honestly, I don't know what sport the people who use this phrase play/watch, but I'm pretty sure the ball stays in one court throughout a single game. They have some serve/pass if they're getting the ball all the way to another court... or they're aim is way off. I don't think I've ever actually used this phrase; at least, I don't recall doing that.

You lost the metaphor.

I remember having to use two courts for basket ball in elementary school cause both court's had only one hoop.

Either that's the exception, Cholie, or each one was half of the whole.

Too bad no one says it like that, WaWa, but you're right. It should be that way.
