My open house was today between 2:15 and 4:45. Ding came over around 9:00 a.m., and we walked to the school around 3:00 p.m. We spent a bit wandering around the school talking to our old teachers while waiting for my mom to arrive. She was late and arrived at 4:15, leaving us only 30 minutes to rush around to my teachers. We hit everyone but my Spanish teacher, who we actually saw walking down the hall as we rushed to her room, but didn't know it was her.

I have an okay cast of teachers this year. The only new one that really stood out was my English teacher, who is awesome. Period.

School shopping (should) happen on Sunday or Monday, and I'm looking forward to it I combined all of the supply lists I got today into a single comprehensive list, which I have printed out for later. Then it's off to school on Tuesday.

Tomorrow I have Ding and another friend , alias Itchy (I don't know if I've mentioned him here yet), coming over to work on the summer reading assignments. Because of this, I may or may not make an entry tomorrow.
