UPDATE:

Thanks to a tip from a person whose BZPower username I unfortunately don't know, the MOC in question was posted on a well-known LEGO-themed blog The Brothers Brick. My Flickr account was subsequently hit with a flood of people adding me to their contacts and commenting on my pictures. One of them happened to be a LEGO Ambassador and AFOL "community organizer" and also a resident of Oulu, where I live. He sent me a Flickr mail introducing himself and inviting me to join the local scene. All of this is pure awesome and makes me a very happy BCii.
