Mystery Of The Mystery Piece Revisited -- And Solved!

Back in January, I blogged about an odd part that I'd encountered online. It wasn't listed in any set inventories that I could find, but the photo had me convinced that it was legit. Others elsewhere have disagreed on this point. Theoretically, the original photo could be a careful hoax.

But now, my friends, I am pleased to announce that all doubts have been dispelled. I present incontrovertible proof that this unlikely-looking piece does, in fact, exist:

The elusive Technic Liftarm 1x16 Thin... lives!

Before you get too excited, though, I must tell you that this photo is not mine. I have not yet made a live sighting, and there is little chance I ever will. For me, though, just knowing that it is, indeed, out there is more than enough. :)

Oooh, those are nice. I'm thinking of giant Takanuva legs of a use for those. :P

My mind, on the other hand, goes wild with the possibilities for radial structures and strutwork. :P
