So, I'm home from my first day of school. It wasn't too bad, as first days go. My only real disappointments came in English class. Remember when I said that my English teacher seemed to be the best of my teachers? I was wrong. She's freaking nuts.

Okay, I'm being a little harsh. She's just not quite what I expected from open house. I suspect that part of it is also my classmates, who, as with my English class from last year, are less than wonderful.

The other disappointment in English is that I couldn't turn in my summer assignment for the class. This is because I did not know we were required to annotate the book itself, which I plan to remedy by the end of the week.

Overall, I think my favorite class and teacher this year will be Analysis of Functions (Pre-Calculus). I know my teacher from math tutoring last year and like her, and I lake (and am reasonably good at) math.
