The human is head is largely made out of liquid, what with the squishy brain and its fluid cushion, not the mention all the blood. Liquid expands when heated. Microwave ovens blast whatever is inside with microwaves, thus heating them.

So yes, your head probably would explode if you stuck it in a microwave and turned it on. Either that or your brain would start dribbling out your ears
