I agree, some do fit (Malum clawz FTW), but weapons like the Skrall Sword, needz moar silverz.

After several years of people moaning about silver, people are now moaning about the lack of silver. There really is no pleasing some people

Thanks to weapons of the previous years' sets, you can make almost anything you want out of silver pieces. I'm quite enjoying the coloured weapons, because it means we're finally getting new elemental parts for MOCs.

Before 2009, it was also getting incredibly sad that SYSTEM sets had better BIONICLE recolours that BIONICLE.

Meh. I think it's unlikely that all the metallic weapons would be silver. Needz moar gunmetal, bronze, and gold.

I have no problem with Ackar's weapon. Obviously it needs the flamy bit. However, the red tubey thing doesn't have to be that colour. As for Stronius, of course silver wouldn't work. Club's aren't metallic, are they?

More metallic colours for all is probably the best to properly reflect the weapon status. But silver is more lovely.

obviously, last year, the limbs were a bit over the top with silver, but weapons do look good in silver - except of course, weapons like a Straxe.

At first I thought Gali Mistika had too much silver, but now I think she's juuuuuuust fine.

I agree, there needs to be more silver in weapons.

Although I'll admit, in some cases colored weapons look better except for two-toned.

Since silver was largely used as metallic protodermis, maybe they should've done gunmetal for Exsidian - especially since it sounds a little like "obsidian".
