Though I partly agree with you, I don't think I'll be joing in this boycott.

Mostly because Wal Mart execs don't read BZP blogs and this most likely won't make a difference.

I haven't read the full article on Y! News yet, but from you've said (I'm trusting your quoting skills here), they'd become a monopoly if that happened. As far as I know, monopolies are illegal in the US.

Well, obviously I exxagerated a bit when I said they'd be the ONLY store that sells stuff, but where I live, they've driven a number of good small stores that I liked out of business, which is another reason I'm mad at them.

Did you even read the entire article? The name really sounds a lot more devastating than the plan; it seems more like a self-improvement plan than an attack plan. But I guess "Project Improve Our Image" was just too wordy, and "Project Makeover" just sounds weird.

Yes, Wal Mart really needs to stop. Everyone says it, but no one does anything abut it.

Most cashiers there are nice people, but Wal Mart is either their only work choice or they just don't realize what their supporting.

That brings up the subject of unemployment.

If Wal Mart did fall, what would happen to the innocents working there? They wouldn't have anywhere else to go. So breaking apart Wal Mart is something that has to be done extremely carefully, as not to upset the balance of the world. (Or, you know, America )

Oh- and what do I do ifI join the boycott? I don't want to do anything extreme...

Um...not buy stuff from Wal-Mart.

And you have to set their buildings on fire.

I'm with you on this. Some of my family member's favorite stores have been driven out of business.
