Also a collection of epic/awesome images and stuff + Thrawn trilogy seems to counteract the mind-violating well enough that I've called off the Brain Bleach. You Mileage May Vary, but it's probably worth a try if you're one of those people nigh-irrevocably scarred by the abomination. Or even if you aren't. Thrawn trilogy is are good books.

My IRL friend who is insanely smart read it (the second one too), just because he had the time to do so. I mean it's like cannot unsee. Curiosity keeps pushing us even though we know we do not want it.

I was actually insane for a while last night(considerably more so than usual, that is). You're severely underestimating just how horrible those books are.

There's just something off about them. They're like non-Euclidean literature, except not even slightly cool. Reading them will give you this niggling doubt in the back of your head that tells you these are not to be read by mortals, with their puny unshielded minds.

I have learned to listen to these niggling doubts.
