Overall, it was an okay movie. It was a "childish" movie, I guess you could say, but that's to be expected. Toward the middle of the movie you could figure out that it was Metus who was the traitor, because there are only three Agori as major characters in the whole film. I love what happened to Metus, it's just cruel.

One thing I didn't like were the fights. They all seemed short, like they were cut short. The Tuma/Mata-Nui fight was awful, it took what, three minutes! Even the Makuta/Taka kohlii game was better. Just not a good climax.

I didn't like the fact that they didn't have Gelu in it at all. I thought he would have been, being the main character in Raid on Vulcanus, but he doesn't make a single appearance. No Malum or Stronius either.

And the ending TOTALLY sets up next year. I see where they're going with it.

Malum: *Points at giant purple beetle creature*

Stronius: You didn't see the special class Skrall?

Gelu: Well, that would have to have them run into a caravan route, plus there's the fact they didn't go anywhere near Iconox...

Which part of the ending, right before the credits, or the coin thingy?

Actually, I thought it was Metus at first, but the movie did such a great job of framing Berix that I ended up being truly surprised.

I think it was a good movie. I'm excited for the 2010 one, and [gasp] Clutch Powers.

The coin and the machine Mata-Nui sees when they pull the villages together. I think it's obvious, he's going to find someway to make it functional and use it.

Malum: Bugs, not Malum.

Stronius: Yes, but none of them had lines and thus can't really be considered to be Stronius himself.

I agree, the fights were definitely too short.

I expected the Tuma fight to be much more... epic.

The Skrall didn't have any lines, either. Neither did the Bone Hunters.

So they're not considered Skrall then?

Skrall isn't one person- it's a whole race. Stronius is one specific person. Because none of the elite-class Skrall were designated as Stronius, you can't consider them to be him.

Wouldn't it be easier and better to have a bunch of elite Skrall with the same voice rather than one with a speaking role?
