*waves from Planet Homework*

Hey everyone. Life pulled a fast one on me again. My mom has been a total pain lately...she's been having mood swings in which she's generally been disproportionately angry (mostly with me, it seems like) and she's kinda made my life miserable. Which is sad, because I feel that in other areas, like academically and socially, I've made so much progress and effort, but then she tears me down and acts like being human, or more accurately, myself, is an evil act. Sigh.

It's not all bad news, of course. The band managed to pull itself together Monday night to dominate the other high schools at our district marching festival--a large contributor to this being the motivation of not having regular 7 AM practices anymore if we did well. Of course, it helped that the themes of most of the other shows were made of fail, while we, on the other hand, had the power of Queen on our side. B) And of course, my sophomore and I rocked it out in the Pit. But mostly I did. Not to brag, but I do always get hyped up at the Festival, and when I'm hyped, I go into music-madness mode and I completely lock onto the beat, so...there.

I'm taking the PSAT next Wednesday.0: Yikes. I'm mostly worried about the math section, which I didn't do so well on last year, on the practice round. And I guess I'll end up taking the ACT in February, and mayhaps once more in the spring.

Aannddd I have a total of about six or seven people at my school I feel totally comfortable around now, and it's only first quarter! I wasn't doing this well as of fourth quarter last year! Every cloud has a silver lining. Or pink, or purple, or blue. And now it's raining, and I'm thirsty, so I shall flee.
