Chapter 5: The Queen?

We finally escaped city 15. With a new friend on our side, we continued walking toward our next destination.

“Are you sure were not lost?” Garion questioned Visarra.

“Of course were not lost, I am a professional map reader”

“Then why are we in the middle of the dessert, when in the map were supposed to be in a jungle region” I said.

She looked puzzled. She looked at the map again, and then slapped herself in the forehead.

“I told you so” Garion said.

She looked up, and pointed her shotgun at Garion.

“You better watch your mouth or else you’re going to be picking up your teeth from the ground”

“You’re the one who got us lost in the first place”

“That’s it!”

She raised her gun. I had to do something, so I said.

“STOP!!!”

They looked at me surprised. As if they just saw a ghost.

“What’s wrong guys?”

“Behind you” Visarra said.

I looked behind me and saw an army of the strangest creatures. There were about 50 spider like creatures, a few creatures that kept rolling into balls, and 4 human like creatures that have disks in their mouths. But worst of all there was a huge black, and silver person in between all of them.

“Who’s that?” I asked

“Get down!” Visarra said as she pulled me down.

“Can someone explain what’s going on”

“That’s Roodaka, she used to be viceroy of the visorak, but now she works with Makuta and controls those creatures” Garion explained.

“which are?”

“the spiders are visorak, the balls are bhorok, and the most deadly of all the vahki”

“So what should we do”

“Allow me” Visarra said.

Before we could say anything Visarra threw a grenade into the crowd of creatures. Even though it made a huge explosion it only took out a couple of visorak and one bhorok. Garion turned around and looked at her with a fire in his eyes.

“What did you just do!”

“Well I thought it would take out more than a couple of enemies”

“Now they know we’re here”

“Exactly, now the fun part begins”

I was about to ask her what she meant, but then she ran out with her shotgun shooting at much as she can.

“We’ve got to help her” I said.

So I ran towards where she was with my pistol in hand, and with Garion armed with an SMG,

We shall not fail.
