If you don't know about that stuff, yes. Seeing as it still hasn't been invented yet though, I'd say it destroys even the minds of the people who do know what's going on.

Only thing I got from it was:

And that because of that wave speeding up space, it would increase the speed of not only the ship, but any light that was caught in the wave. all other light would still be going normal speed though. So in essence, it's faster-than-light travel, yet it's not, as the light in the wave would still be going faster. O_o

See what I mean? And that's only the extreme basics.
