I do believe that he's more about helping people get out of things like poverty, illness, debt, etc., and that helping people will make it so they can improve their lives and the environment around them. I mean, if you look through their album notes and whatnot, the band does support groups like Greenpeace and the Chernobyl Children's Project, but the majority tends to be about helping people get the supplies and assistance that they need so they can work and thrive as independent people.

I'm aware that with the kind of philanthropy he works with he probably does a lot more good than the little bits of hypocritical bad, but I was just having some fun poking around at it, now I feel kind of bad...I've said multiple times here he's one of my absolute favourite singers, I'm not trying to defame the man, just roast him a little.
