Krazy Koala

I updated Linux Ubuntu last night to Whatever Koala and it's really sloooooowwwww.

Like, I can't do anything on it. Typing is like a letter minute. (Almost.)

Well, I copied a few files I might need while in Windows. That's all.

Oh, and the mouse touch-pad doesn't work.

Hopefully my friend can fix everything without having to suggest taking it off and installing it again. That's always a pain just in case there are little code things he needs to do to make it good for me. (I can't remember if we had to do that last time updating to Jaunty. Whatever, it's just really annoying to practically have to start over. Good thing I didn't really install anything. I definitely don't want to restart Windows...)

Yeah, so it pretty much sucks right now.

Heh, one year ago this month I just got this computer.

It was running Vista.

Then in April of this year I put on Linux as well.

Anyway, as for upgrades. It's like a gradually changing process to fix bugs and make things run smoother. Apparently it's that way for Apple too. (Windows, however, just waits 3 or so years and gives a totally new thing.)

See, this is why I like my Mac. I don't have to worry about updates that make things go slower, nor do I have to deal with the hassle that is Windows. :)
