Which is why the idea of Canada having or needing a military is laughable.

Quite frankly I'm disappointed in all of you.

Did you not even think of how incredibly rude and stupid it was to be posting such things on Remembrance Day when Canada remembers its fallen Veterans?

What would YOU think of someone posting something like this about the American Military today?

Good ol' Janus, always here to kick us in the nads and show us the error of our ways.

While I knew about the other stuff, I'd more-or-less forgotten about how serious the Canadian military was... especially, of course, in World War 2. The bit about the SS Commanders conveniently leaving that detail out of briefings underscores the point.
