You should add Uncharted 2 and Borderlands to the list.

I find the inclusion of Wii Punch Out over Uncharted 2 disturbing...

Anyway,

1. MW2: Fun game with a flawed story, also Wii is overrated.

2. Halo 3: ODST: Firefight is good times, Killzone 2 not so much

3. Halo Wars: It's the first console RTS done right, not to mention L4D2 didn't feel very improved over L4D so it's lack of innovation holds it back in this scenario.

4. Batman: Arkham Asylum: Never got a chance to play Infamous, but what I have played of Batman was soooooooooooo good.

Quite honestly, I found the inclusion of it over several other games kinda annoying, but I'm not even the one who picks what goes in. That whole mess is done on the (insert certain gaming website that I'm not allowed to mention) forums.

I can explain Larry's problem. Assassin's Creed was released too late to be reviewed, and thus will be included in next year's playoffs.

I was pretty angry when I saw that Punch-Out had even gotten the last spot, but then again, these are the same noobs that voted Super Mario Galaxy as the #1 seed in 2007. Maybe next year I'll just have this whole thing be BZP based.

Anyways, Modern Warfare 2 just finished the shut out, so it's gone. Score update:

#1 Call of Duty: 8, #8 Wii Punch Out 0. Call of Duty advances on a mercy rule policy.

#2 ODST: 7 #7 Killzone: 1. ODST advances on a mercy rule policy.

#3 Left 4 Dead: 4, #6 Halo Wars: 3

FINAL SCORES:

Call of Duty WM2: 9, Punch Out: 0 ([sarcasm] Who saw this one coming? [/sarcasm]Complete domination. Why did those nubs put this in as the #8 seed again..

Halo 3 ODST: 7, Killzone 2: 2 (Really not a contest either. Halo once again dominates another relatively small known franchise. And the UNSC rolls into the next round)

L4D2: 5, Halo Wars: 3 (This was a little closer than I expected, but the zombie madness pulled it out against the first ever Halo strategy. Up next? Another Halo game, and this one figures to end the zombies run at a best game of the year title.

Infamous: 4, Arkham Asylum: 5 (This actually ended regulation tied at 4. So I went to tiebreaker, which is the highest GS score. Only that turned out to be tied as well. But the user score, which favored Arkham 9.2-8.9, broke the tie and sent Batman and co. to it's probable doom against MW2.
