I tried to dig an underground base in a snow drift and it collapsed and I was stuck there for 40 mins until I clawed my way out!

 

 

On the plus side I scared the pee out of some kid when I stuck my arm through the ice and pulled myself up

The secret to build a good undersnow base is to borrow a way through with a hose, cuz the water will melt the snow and then refreeze in a few minutes, making it sturdier.
