Mele Kalikimaka!
(That's Hawaiian for Merry Christmas, in case you want to know =P)
We'll be flying back to the mainland several degrees tanner tomorrow night, arriving at Sea-Tac airport 6:00 AM on Sunday, Pacific time. Sometime that day, we'll celebrate Christmas for real.
Not that I didn't get any gifts today: my mom gave me a silver bracelet, containing the inscription [fancywriting]"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."[/fancywriting] When she bought a bracelet at one of the jewelry stores here later, she got some freshwater pearl earrings as a free gift, and gave them to me.
Not too shabby.
PS: I've started reading The Lovely Bones, partly because of the new movie, partly because my dad bought it a few days ago, and partly because my Chemistry classmate is reading it. It's pretty spine-chilling, but not in a ghost-story way. *shudders*
