It seems that, unfortunately, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is only showing in 4 theaters in the United States, in New York (City presumably?) and LA. (The UK and New Zealand got it in November....)

So obviously I won't be seeing it any time soon. I guess the best option is to wait for the DVD.

More importantly, however, is why is it not being shown across the country? My theater, in VA, even had a trailer for it. Why would corporate choose to show the trailer outside of NY and LA?

I guess I'm disappointed and ticked off.
