I'm sure there is a logical reason. Logic would dictate that over a short period of time, if an individual had goals, such as, in your case, to create a decent blog entry, but there is no deadline, then the tendency would be to put that goal off until later. It isn't necessarily procrastination. It's only that these are the first few days of 2010 and you have had no reason to make what you consider a "substantial blog entry". You go at your own pace, EmperorWhenua, Lord of the Sith.

You must also take into consideration that "all year" has so far only been eleven days.
