Paint In Win7

It's amazingly annoying.

I may hate the ribbon in the new Word, though I use WordPerfect (or Open Office), but adding it to MS Paint was the worst idea ever.

Things that use to be plainly visible now have to be clicked through to be accessed. I can no longer go Ctrl+R to rotate/flip or Ctrl+F to see the fullscreen view. Right clicking on a color does not make it the secondary/background color (now I have to do two clicks: One to select the fact that I want to use a background color and one to choose it).

I guess there are a few nice features I'm glad they finally added, like holding down Control and then scrolling to zoom. Or allowing ratios when resizing (thank goodness they kept Ctrl+W). I don't think those make up for the fact that a few other things are now inconveniently taken away.

I'll probably find more problems as I keep using it. (Oh look, I just realized that Ctrl+I doesn't do anything anymore...)

You mean Windows 7's Paint, right? Because I love Paint and use it all the time. I learned the quick tricks of key bindings to save time, and now it is working against me.

Not as much as I used to. Now it's just for sizing down pix or making a banner every once in a while.

(Unless you're surprised I don't use some other program. I don't have much need for GIMP, though had it before Win7, but I have heard of Paint.net. Thoughts?)
