I Had A Dream.
(This is not inspirational, unless you find drawings of the three-dimensional variety inspiring, in which case I suggest you find an architecture forum)
In this dream, I was in a strange land. Wolves were taking over. There were far too many to count.
It was up to me, using some sort of super-speed and a sword, to fight the wolves.
Well after a while this got boring and painful so I decided just to try to break open a cave door.
So I met two people, found a nice, good cave, and tried to discover the opening. The girl companion found the sealed opening, and the dwarfish guy realized that there was a puzzle. So I got the pieces of the puzzle, and I was about to plant them into the floor base pieces. I placed it into the opening...
...Squeeeeeeeak, my mom opened my bedroom door and I woke up. I have no idea what is behind the cave door, but I know I fell in love with that terrain design. So what did I do? I grabbed a piece of notebook paper and sketched it out. I then translated my drawings to the drafting program SketchUp, which I'm sure some of you know. The results?
I'm pretty sure it can be considered finished now. I might add some bits, tweak it, make it a bit smoother, texture-wise, and raise the poly-count, but the bulk of it is finished.
So, what do you guys think?
