Got My Cae Marks!

I just received my Cambridge CAE marks (Certificate in Advanced English). The overall mark is A, and I got 85% correct. This is how I did in the various parts of the examination:

I was surprised about the listening part, though - I would have thought my writing was worst (not because of my style, no, but because of the contents - I almost missed the subject I was supposed to write about).

Way to go. I only got a C due to an awful Speaking and a so-so Listening.

Dude, you are a German with better English skills than most of us Americans.

 

...Perhaps I should say that you are a German with better English skills than many English, as that is quite impressive, while the former one is no real achievment when one really thinks about it.
