I'm thinking of changing my blog layout, but I have yet to even start. :P I like the content blocks on the left side, but I guess it's okay having them on the right. I think you should put the info block under the welcome block, put the category block under the info block and put everything else under the category block.

Because you can't welcome someone to the blog a content block late. That's like wishing someone happy birthday two weeks later. :P
