Well, live... I'm doing okay for going to sleep at 3 AM for a few days in a row. It's my vacation biorythm.

Going to a local show (well, local... It's 15 clicks from here). The first two bands I don't know, so I checked out their sites. By Nature sounded a bit too mellow for me, though Tripoli has a kind of groovy rock thing going on. The voice of the female lead vocalist probably has a lot to do with that. At midnight the Norwegian Socks will be playing as the main act. They're a cover band, but they're a good cover band. They play mostly alternative rock songs, even a Faithless song from time to time. The lead singer is the owner and bartender at my favourite pub, so it's even more fun, because you now the guy up on stage, and you know he's having as much fun as you are having.

On another, completely unrelated note: just started watching .hack//sign... I like the detailed plot, the US voice acting isn't as bad as in other anime series, but the soundtrack interferes with the show a bit too much. I'll try and find a subbed version so I can compare.

Also, have you ever tried breaking the shoulder-patting world record? I've no idea whether it even exists, but I was coerced to participate in a mixed double match yesterday. It lasted half an hour, and was annoying after 15 minutes already. It would've been annoying earlier, but... Eh, I'll just leave that open.
