Looking back, I see my life, written on the screen, preserved in time, for all to see....

I see joy, pain, happiness, sadness, surprise, anger, and a host of other emotions that are indescribable to all...

One entry still makes me cry when I read it. Others make me laugh. Some remind me of all the wonderful times I've had.

I wonder how time can go by so fast. how an entry written only two years ago can seem like it was made an eternity away...

I wonder, above all, how we can be so naive about time, about the time we have, and about how we use it. and how it slips out of our fingers at the end of the day...

I look back on my life, preserved in the pages of this blog. I see events that have shaped my life. I see how I have matured over two years, yet still have the naive jokes I did in 8th grade.

How can time go by so fast? How do we let it slip by, going about our days as if it were routine? Changing nothing? Never reveling in the sunrise?

Even though I'm only 16, I realize that time is precious. Before we know it, half our lives will be gone, lost to history. And yet, some of my life will live on, preserved in this blog.

I close my entry now. My Premier membership ends tomorrow, and, seeing how scatter-brained (and broke) I am, I have no Idea when it will be renewed. So part of my life will go undocumented, until the membership is renewed.

The day has turned to night. Another day gone. It is black outside. And as I end this entry, and turn off my computer screen, a thought courses through my mind:

"I really should get that Light Bulb replaced."
