Interesting and really depressing sociology lecture today. Apparently a person who smokes is twice as likely to have a heart attack in their lifetime than a person who does not, fair enough. However, a person who feels loneliness is FOUR TIMES as likely to have a heart attack in their lifetime than a person who does not, as when you feel this way you are more receptive to illnesses, particularly (obviously) mental illnesses.
