Final Fantasy

To put it in short words, Final Fantasy is a fantasy based RPG, that has spanned many game platforms (NES, SNES, Gameboy, GBA, PS, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, DS, PC). Each Final Fantasy is different from the one preceding it (i.e. Final Fantasy II is not a sequel to Final Fantasy I). Also, a few of the Final Fantasy installments have had their own spinoff compilations.

These games, and compilations are:

Final Fantasy V Compilation - Final Fantasy V (game), Legend of the Crystal (anime sequel)

Final Fantasy VII Compilation - Final Fantasy VII, Advent Children (movie sequel), Dirge of Cerberus (game sequel), Before Crisis (game prequel), Crisis Core (game sequel), Maiden Who Travels The Planet (book sequel)

Final Fantasy X Compilation - Final Fantasy X (game), Final Fantasy X-2 (game sequel)

Final Fantasy XII Compilation - Final Fantasy XII (game), Revenant Wings (game sequel)

Fabula Nova Crystallis (New Tale of the Crystal - Final Fantasy XIII) - Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy Agito XIII

Then there is also Final Fantasy Tactics, which is a more of a strategy RPG based off the Final Fantasy games. A spinoff of it (which have no connection really, besides the world) was Vagrant Story and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Final Fantasy XII is also connected to tactics as well.

Although the Final Fantasy installments do not follow each other, they do have connections, such as Chocobos (started in FF2), Moogles (started in FF3), Summons (started in FF3), and a character named Cid (started in FF2, was later put into FF1 in Dawn of Souls). Ever since these elements were introduced, they always been in Final Fantasy ever since.

You so have to go into a Final Fantasy lore competition. You know so much. Square Enix will host, it will last three days with no one sleeping, and you'll end up the winner and I can scream from the crowd saying "HEY I KNOW THAT GUY!" and get odd stares from everybody.
