Bicentennial
What is this entry about?
The Windows 7 Whopper? My perfect score on my Algebra II SOL (600! )? An awesome ultimate frisbee game we played during Band? We're disecting a pig fetus in Biology this Friday? My new found interest in reading the Classics (HG Wells, Holmes, Homer...)? My campaign for BNG to do a TV series for Bionicle rather than movies? My dream of Greg making a Dark Toa team featuring Ahkmou, a Shadow Takanuva, Tuyet, and more? An idea for a short story about if Takua was destined to become a Bohrok during the 2002 storyline? Greg's first child coming soon? (If it's a girl he should name is "Hahli" or "Hallie" and if it's a boy he should name it Jovan! ) My excitement for The Yesterday Quest? Stephen Colbert comes back this week from his vacation? The fact that even people with digital watches can be sad? That Willy Wonka could have been an awesome horror story?
Well none of that actually.
This is my 200th blog post! (I make too many, don't I? )
I also decided that this would be a good time to introduce my new plans for Lethal Purity. To start off, it's no longer going to be called Lethal Purity. The concept for the storyline has stayed rather the same while how the story would be told has morphed greatly over the last few months, from a 9-book long series each book with 100 chapters to a series of short stories. Over the last year and a half, I've had the urge to write something to be published. I've tried doing various things before I decided to go back to the Lethal Purity idea (I'd been working on the basics since 2005-2006 - the story has really evolved into something completely different, only a few names and concepts are still the same.
Now I have decided to try to combine the two ideas. So far it is working magnificently. It's almost like Bionicle, but not a rip-off at all. It's something completely different in all actuality. As I finish up my 2010 plans for it this week, I will start creating a website for it. I think it might have forums but that won't be until much later on, perhaps in a year or two.
So if anyone can help with graphics for the site, PM me so we can set something up.
Iff (no, that's not a type, it means "if and only if") this is a success (like a major success), I might try be able to feel confident enough to go into a career in writing (which is my lifelong dream). If not I'm stuck with majoring in astrophysics and minoring in computer programming. (Neither of which are terrible)
So, with that, I end my 200th blog post. I'd like some feedback on what people think of me doing something like this.
EDIT: For the record, the writing I've post on this site has, in short, sucked terribly. I could easily increase the quality of what I've written if I felt like it. It's Never Too Late To Procrastinate!
