Custom Ringtone Question

Hey guys, I have a question. As far as cell phones go, I'm about a generation or two back from where I should be when it comes to being savvy of them. I know how to call people and send and receive text messages, and that's about it.

Anyway, I'm trying to get a sound file from Removed. Do not bypass or allude to words in the filter. - Kohaku and make it my ringtone. I know how to make a Removed. video into a downloadable MP3 file, but I don't even know if that's the type of file it's supposed to be to make it my ringtone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Ok, here's what you do.

1. Use Audacity (or any other program you like) to get the sound file (mp3 format) to less than 300kb

2. Take the SD card out of your phone and put it into your computer (or use your converty-cord to plug your phone in)

3. Put the mp3 you made into the my_sounds folder on your phone

4. Disconnect your phone/put the card back in and find the sound in your sounds

5. Send it to yourself

6. Save the file as ringtone

And you're done :D If you don't have a plan that lets you send sounds as messages, the only other way I know of is a site that has forums =[

Good luck tho

That actually helps a LOT. Thanks! Now, I've sent it to my phone as a text message with the file attached, but how do I save it as a ringtone?

If it helps, my phone is an LG Rumor from Sprint.
