Bbc Woes... MOCs Entry posted by Bundalings January 10, 2007 554 views Share
 Followers 0 I am so sad... Mikerakh entered in the Temperence catagorie, now I have no chance. I will be forever overshadowed by great folks. I don't like his entry, but I think everyone else will. Oh well... BtB
Mikerahk Posted January 10, 2007 It's called the popularity factor, it isn't fun to be on the opposite side of it, is it? I was at one time, but that was remedied by some great mocs, so keep mocing. The popularity factor plays a big role in the polls, it always has, and maybe it always will. I hope it doesn't, because it is unfair. Quote Link to comment

-SZ- Posted January 10, 2007 Nonsense! I'd say you're as good/better than Mikey is at MOCing. But that doesn't matter to me, whoever builds the better MOC, I'll be voting for him. SZ Quote Link to comment

You are also a good MOCer. So chin up!! Umm... let me list the resons that isn't true. 1) I've never won a contest. 2) I'm a reletive newb. 3) I've never had an MOC topic exceed 30 posts. 4) I've never had an MOC hot topic. So there. If you can show me thirty people that recognize my name and remember what I've built, you win. Nonsense! I'd say you're as good/better than Mikey is at MOCing. So there. If you can show me thirty people that recognize my name and remember what I've built, you win. Hey now, don't get down about that. The bit about MOC hot topics and 30+ posts.. I've probably had about five hot topics (And that was back when 20+ posts was a hot topic) and mabye.. one or two make 30 posts. Mabye. But that was some time ago. And yet I've gotten third place twice before, and I got second in the last contest. Not all hope is lost. Popularity isn't the only judge of a good contest entry. I admit, I have achieved more than you have - but heck, look at my join date. I've been around. Time is the real cruncher. The more you MOC, the better you become, and eventually you'll make those contest finals. 'sides, winning and popularity aren't everything. MOC 'cause you like it. That's what it's about, aye? ~Tesser Quote Link to comment
