My family bought a new piano a little over a week ago. This one is a much needed acoustic piano, It will replace our eight year old electric Yamaha Clavinova.

 

The new piano is a Baldwin Upright. We got a pretty good deal on it, and even though it's about 15 years old it's in like new condition. It like it and it's a lot more fun to play then the electric piano we use to use. The only problem is it might be a little more difficult to record stuff.

It looks nice! I personally like electric pianoes and keyboards better, though.

It depends on what your plaing and using the piano for. I you're in a band it would look weird having an upright or grand piano on the stage. However, I'm playing mostly classical style music so an acoustic works a lot better. There's also a huge difference in how the keys move.
