Guess Who's Not Exactly Back
Some tidbits:
-I have kind of "left", but am actually still lurking, like, oh I don't know, once or twice a week? Weird seeing all of this HF stuff getting reported on the front page.
-OK, I haven't really "left", it's more like taking an on-and-off "break". I suppose that's a better way to put "it".
-School let out for me today.
-My trip to Disney World is only about 40 days away. Not too bad.
-All of those Barnicles are packed away now. Very pleased, actually. Needed those things off the floor of the basement. It was getting out of hand.
-Went into NYC yesterday. Didn't expect to see it open, but I was happy to find out that the Rockefeller Center LEGO Store started soft opening.
Went in and checked it out, got an issue of Brickjournal, picked up two collectable minifigs (went in blindly without my barcode cheat-sheet, so I got a cowboy which I already have but luckily got the robot I've been looking for.)
The store itself has a bunch of cool NYC-inspired models to look at, AND the LEGO Sea-Serpent that comes out of the water at Downtown Disney in Disney World (but in this case it weaves in and out of the ceiling. Really cool.)
-Saw where they were putting in the new NYC Disney Store in Times Square. On the same side as TRU, down a little ways.
-Happy to hear that Disney Stores are beginning to sell Vinylmation... because the mall that is a fine-minute drive from me is getting them. B)
As part of the Imagination Park movement hitting many Disney Stores across the nation, stores are getting totally revamped to include crazy technology and stuff.
-Summer lacrosse is pretty crazy. Had my first tournament last weekend. A little difficult to play in such heat.
-I've decided against buying Hero Factory.
Will I cave and buy a small one at some point? Maybe, but I really feel that I'm done with buying those types of LEGO. That being said, I'll still probably be buying select LEGO themes, such as Architecture and Toy Story.
-Speaking of Toy Story, I still haven't seen TS3 yet.
I better get my butt to a movie theater right now and see it. I really need to. First movie in a long long time that I've been aching to see.
-Is that it?
-Yes
-Yes, I believe so.
