A good friend of mine died today,

and all I could do was cry.

my head accepts what my heart denies,

of what happen then, today.

the bad news spreads, the tears flow down,

and prayers reach the skies.

a much loved friend, child, brother and son,

a light for all to see.

the wait was long, unending, unsure,

yet hope endured, forever strong.

but our God’s great will is above our own,

and he took our friend to a heavenly home.

and we are left, to mourn and greive,

and yet rejoice at what our friend recives.

but still we wish, with all our hearts,

that our good friend did not have to leave.

Sorry about the Morbid post, but I'm not really in a happy mood. I'm happy about the anniversary and all, but this seems to trump it.
