Thats no fun. It happened to me just a year ago and I was devastated over it. Do you know what went wrong, perhaps it was a hard drive failure. That's what happened to me.

If your hard drive is making clicking noises, then it's usually a hd failure.

Even if there's hard drive failure, you might still extract data from the hard drive. That's what I did when my other computer's hard drive couldn't boot windows without freezing. I took the hard drive from the case, got a sata to usb cable, hooked it to another computer, and backed-up everything. I think I was lucky that time.
