I've made some purchases through Lego Shop@Home this summer, to get some new and discounted sets. (Yay Thornatus) All the while I thought I was getting VIP points for them... today I made the realization that I had my VIP card registered under a different account, so about $100 worth of purchases don't count.

 

:annoyed2: Bugger!

 

Luckily, all my purchases at Lego Stores (BrickFair, ext) have been valid. But still... >.<

Aw man, thats a letdown for sure. Thats something that would just, eat at me for the rest of my life.

Are you sure you can't get them transferred over? I can't see them having a problem with it, as long as you can prove they're both your accounts.
