Language
Language is definitely something worth thinking about. As far as I'm concerned, it is one of the most important things in the world, because, of course, without it we wouldn't be able to communicate easily! I mean, even as you're reading this, you know that you're fluent in at least one language. And there lies my point. What if the world had a universal language? How would that affect the world? Does it make it better that we have different languages?
I personally think that if the world had a universal language, it would make the world better. Better in a way that it would increase the ability to communicate internationally a thousand times over, which is great because sometimes people are restricted by their language. If you were sitting next to someone who spoke...say...Russian, you could miss out on a good conversation or discussion with them because their language is different than yours. However, I think in a way that it does make the world better that we have different languages, because it sort of gives each country a sense of independence from the other countries. But, if everyone spoke the same language, we would be more together and would act as a community instead of many many communities.
Just my thoughts. What are yours?
