Oh Yeah, I Remember How To Get You Out...
...says Cliff Lee as he dominates the Yankees again, just as he did against them in last year's World Series with the Phillies, and all with only a very shallow lead. The only reason he didn't pitch the complete game was that the Rangers finally scored six more runs, giving Texas an eight-run lead deep in the heart of Texas New York City. For that reason, Ron Washington decided to let ROY candidate Neftali Feliz pitch the ninth, and he also dominated for that one brief outing, giving Texas a 2-1 lead in the ALCS.
The Yankees, meanwhile, have to do something against Tommy Hunter, who appears to be the only weakness in Rangers starters. At the same time, New York has a recently unreliable A. J. Burnett on the mound, and with the way the Texas Rangers have been playing, every mistake could turn into a rally.
For those of you that prefer offense, game 4 is for you.
Maybe.
